BTW, I do think there is a difference between small and large business in this respect. In a large business it's quite possible that a middle level manager is a prick and just doesn't like certain people. In a small business it's going to be the business owner doing the hiring and firing rather than some middle manager. This was where the unfair dismissal part of workchoices tried to find the right balance.
