If I remember correctly, they only provide advice and accounting (CFS Custom Solutions provide the wrap platform at the moment). FID also has the wrap platform internally and more importantly funds management, which means greater margins.
Take a look at the operational segment breakdown for FID. Financial planning/advice is purely an offer to feed the other segments, as far as I can tell (an argument for vertical integration, perhaps?)
