Although in an article I read perhaps a year ago, hybrids are more likely than either a pure ICE or EV to catch fire. I guess that's because they carry around both a battery and petrol meaning either of these could be the potential source of problems. Someone is bound to therefore point out hybrid's have a higher chance of fire than a pure ICE vehicle (and choose not to mention that the transition from hybrid to EV is a big drop in the risk).
