Just read an article on AFR and there is one thing caught my eye:
"Another large industry fund, Hostplus, has upped the ante by opening up its investment options to SMSFs even if they are not members of the fund.
SMSFs can become unit holders in six of Hostplus’ 23 investment options. Significantly, this includes unlisted infrastructure and property holdings, which are traditionally difficult for retail investors to access."
