Industry news - Propeller Health, Novartis, Astra Zeneca

Interesting reading the broker reports on Resmed's (RMD) quarterly results. It appears that the Resmed owned Propeller Health has done a partnership deal with Astra Zeneca and Novartis in asthma and COPD.

Resmed acquired Propeller Health for $320m AUD in January 2019. Smart inhaler technology could be a complimentary fit for Respiri's Wheezo technology (medication compliance + symptom monitoring + complete end-to-end data based info to manage Asthma + COPD)

Clear signs of COVID-19 enabling faster growth in the digital health space.

Further evidence this week is the Telehealth giant Teladoc and digital chronic disease management company Livongo announcing an $18.5 billion merger that'll value the combined entity at $37 billion.

Novartis partnership: RMD has partnered with Novartis to co-package the Propeller digital
platform with asthma medication, where Propeller sensors attach to the new inhaler from Novartis and
collect medication usage data from patients. This combination has been cleared by the European
Commission for launch.
