that's my feeling G, I was interested as to why a bunch of current medications that have a mild anti inflammatory effect as a side line have popped up and are seeking consultation with the FDA as to their potential use in the fight against Covid19...
case in point ...Merck ( and to some degree Ivermectin....as per below)
and
( protease inhibitor....mmmm)
side effects include ...
plus a few more but you get the idea... FDA consultation will be interesting for these companies)
so why are they pooping up....
needless to say thanks @Oldpa1 as I suspect it would be off the back of the WHO release in July....it aligns in a lot of respects.
which is fantastic because none of these is peer reviewed for the use against covid and specifically at this stage not recommended for use as a covid treat / exposure prophylaxis ( Quality, safety and efficacy specifically related to this nasty)
It will certainly focus more attention on those companies developing specific anti-inflammatory drug candidates...to wit IHL 675A
exceed our wildest dreams...quite possibly .....like it so far thats for sure
