The greatest commercial advantage IHL has is a highly restrictive environment for psychedelics. This creates a high barrier of entry to new players and creates a run way for an advanced company like IHL to develop and protect their IP. The last thing you want at the moment is a deregulated system that allows “bad apples” to attempt to monitize a sector before the science is mature.

It’s a sensible decision and ensures that money is efficiently invested into the scientific development of the sector, companies like IHL partnering with real scientists like Dr Liknaitzky.

Spot on. Also, potential investors who have actually done some due diligence would acknowledge the federal government is funding research into using psychedelics. Positive feedback from the FDA & approval from the Monash ethics committee positions the Company as a first mover.
