Merck is in the news quite a bit, and just saw it covered at length on Japanese evening news for their antiviral pill that could reduce hospitalisations. Search for Merck covid-19 pill in case links disappear.
News also touched upon the work being done in the Messenger RNA space, Nobel Prize nominations for the field and special mention that not only are mRNA vaccines fighting covid, but now also the oncology space. The announcers/commentators became very excited about the potential for mRNA in cancer treatments and the “expert” commentator (a professor) gave more details and hinted how big it could be for cancer.
Merck’s SP shot up 13% on the news of their covid pill and hurt their competitors SP by around 11%. How long until Zantrene is the reason for their SPS changing?
