A very very fascinating read on the emergence of AI in the discovery & design of better drugs in todays NY Times
Reading this article I can't help thinking that the role of biotechs as the trail blazers and risk takers in bring new drugs to patients is going to change significantly in the years ahead.
Thankfully for the foreseeable future there will still be the need for in-human trials, so luckily we are still ahead of the game with bisantrene (I think)
