Garner didn’t help the situation by adding supply, but ultimately the real kicker that halted momentum and told shareholders there’s an issue or that nothing special was on the horizon was JC selling $1m worth right after they tapped shareholders for a $30m SPP.
IMO that was when things went wrong.
Then add RAC also really pulled back on its outreach and marketing.
I don’t believe the sector really had anything to do with it, as we really have no institutional worries, rebalances, or funds to drag us downwards.
It was purely JC our deal guy showing a lack of support, realisation we we’re really starting back quite far (not the 50m start line as we thought/we’re told) and a lack of out reach causing shareholder decline rather than increase.
