I don't know why Tesla is even brought up.
I would be more excited of the likes of Toyota, Kia, Ford that sell hugh volume of cars are some of first targeted. Just ordinary everyday cars need the estimated 2000 plus simple sensors. We receive payment for each chip sold, so the more the better. We will be better of with bulk volume than a producer like Tesla, that in comparison sell a tiny amount of cars.
Management are chasing the low hanging fruit. Hugh volume that will displace Flash.
I am sure that Tesla is not on their radar at this stage.
