This article highlights a couple of things-excuse me for treading old ground but it has helped consolidate ideas pushed to the back of mind.
1. I hadn't realised how 'small' Skywater was when it was first announced. It was $34 on NASDAQ , backed by Joe and co-so it was a big deal- first fab and all that but pretty small.
SkyWater SP dropped but so what?
My thinking was, there are other fabs on the horizon and SkyWater is doing the heavy lifting for WBT anyway.
2. The article has concentrated my thinking. Tier 1 talk is fantastic. However if nothing eventuates in the near term, Skywater/WBT partnership will still make huge money; it's a symbiotic relationship.
So the longer it takes to announce a Tier 1, it doesn't really matter. SKYW and WBT will grow together.
