I’m sorry, but it’s clear you don’t quite understand the technology category.
The fundamental technologies behind ReRAM have been around since the 60s and well predate WBT and actual modern implementations since late 90s. There’s many ways to implement it, all with different trade offs and advantages.
The WBT advantage is it doesn’t require exotic materials and complex retooling for fabs, not that they’re first to produce it, and I’m unsure how you even thought that to be the case.
