US equities pared losses into the closing bell ahead of Nvidia’s quarterly results that exceeded expectations. The chipmaker said after the close of trade that it had record quarterly revenue of $US26 billion, up 18 per cent from Q4 and up 262 per cent from a year ago. It also announced a 10-for-1 stock split and lifted its dividend.
Nvidia’s shares were 5.7 per cent higher in extended trading and are poised to open tomorrow above $US1000 for the first time"
