They still have to cover though deco, ~15M shares worth if data is to be believed. Its not a profit for them until they buy it back.
And EOFY sale ends this week.
I believe in order to push it down you'd need new short positions to be taken up, I am not sure that such shares are available
Depending on where the position was taken would depend on how much good money 'can' be made.
Some good news could see positions opened ~$2-$3 mark in trouble fast, I also wonder what the collateral / margin calls are.
