Samsung is only 2% of the MCU business.
whilst Infineon, ST,NXP, TI & Renesas, microchip make up 88%.
i bet Coby is chasing the 88% not the 2%
That link about the issues is their 2nm node... no one will making ReRAM at 2nm any time soon, too expensive.
2nm is reserved for the highest end CPUs GPUs SOCs etc.
Even HBM is at 10nm which is where Samsung is trying to beat SK.
samsung have 1200 patents on ReRAM but Weebit only have about 20, so yeah I just wouldn't bet on Samsung being next.
i bet Texas Instruments and Microchip will come before Samsung.
