While I agree with most things on this thread I have to disagree with you moondoong, the government has control over when you have access to your money even when it is in a SMSF. The trustees still have to abide by SIS legislation which governs when you can access funds.(condition of release)
11.00am Tuesdaymorning, and I have 3 new clients this week that are quite excited to transfer to a SMSF. The industry funds (idiots) and retail funds (not idiots but trying to please shareholders)have a right to be very concerned and need to move with the times..........
