    In May the big boys rescued the monthly close at the last moment.

    My suggestion was that they could then let it slip again in June for 2 or 3 weeks and then try to rescue it again.

    Yes I know that sounds paranoid but is my view after 30 years trading.

    I believe the big boys trade mostly on monthly closes rather than day to day.

    So I believe into mid next week will be when they decide if it can be rescued or not.

    If they believe it can, then by quarterly expiration at the latest they will begin a concerted effort to bounce the month. If they can't rescue June then their tactics will change.

    They know July and August are good months and may hang in short term before escaping completely even if they know the game is over.

    Pardon me while I adjust my tin foil helmut that blocks out those Martian signals.
