There is already a level below which an employer does not have to make a super payment. It is presently an amount below 450.00 a monthGenerally, you’re entitled to super guarantee contributions from an employer if you are:
- 18 years old or over and
- paid $450 or more (before tax) in a month.
It doesn’t matter if you’re full time, part time or casual, or if you’re a temporary resident of Australia – you’re still entitled to receive superannuation contributions.
