I think the general consensus on the board is that if the well is classified as appraisal the ASX rules are so indeterminate regarding what represents material change and when it has to be reported that a TD announcement would be fine, but if the well is classified as "exploration" then the results would have to be announced immediately.
I note the annual report refers to Bellatrix as an exploration prospect which of course it is, but the lower SNE targets are appraisal so it looks like they think they can get away with it.
