3 things
1.wireless is here now ....not anywhere near the best nothing is faster or denser than the speed of light and its carrying capacity
2.optic fibre will enable thousands of times faster than the fastest speed we will have when telstra complete their wireless rollout and provide us all with 100mbs which is very fast compared to what we have now
3.evryone will need a gap builder between optic fibre completion and now , so wireless is the way coz its alot faster than what we have now....but not the best
....optic fibre will last for a hundred years if done well...so whoever gets the deal will dominate the marketplace for a century...
therefore telstra are just playing politics
i repeat they are experts at the politics game....sol is a master.thats why he gets 13 mill a year....he is playing the government and the market.
and there is no way they wont have an optic fibre technology in play before any opposition do.Even if someone else gets the government contract telstra will do it anyway
this is because it is the long term future ...it is the only future of telecomunications.so dont be sucked in!!!!
Once telstra bottoms at about 350 its the perfect time to buy....all in.
