I fully agree with CB post that the current board is inexperienced (as far as running a big company).
Now go back five or six years
- Bioeffectives was only an idea that needed to be brought into reality (all the ancedotal eveidence was there but no systematic trials done).
- With the passion of the scientists and investors (I wont call Vagif and Denis as experienced company managers), the product has gone thru various trials and proven to be upto the mark (don't for a second think that Russian Health dept wil recognise Ropren as a pharmaceutical without proper evidence)
- As I have seen in numerous start ups - it is an ongoing learning process (ask Bill gates re: Microsoft - He had an idea and passion and all that marketing etc came later on)
- Our directors are learning as we go along but to me it matters most that they have got the plant up and running (a huge achievement considering this is the first plant in the world producing Polyprenols of 95-98% purity)
- The progres has been slow (to some) but don't think that Rome was built in a day! Be assured that there will be more hurdles and bumps along the way - nothing is as simple as it seems at first!
- But take it that once the things are on track and Ropren starts selling - it will be a huge huge market and there will be no looking back
- I may be wrong but this reminds of of CSL ( it used to be owned by Govt) and floated at $2.00. Didn't do anything for a few years but once it got into gear - there is no looking back
It is very easy sitting at home or office to dream about a billion Dollar company but believe me it is lot of sweat tears and damn hard work - It will happen but not overnight as most of the people expect.
