This is what I have been confidently informed:
GK had CDFA approval. So did others. Once the new ruling came in, it was to do with the CNCA accredited manufacturer.
Now this has come in, you need to firstly secure a slot or become a CNCA approved facility, then the CNCA approved group will apply for CDFA under their manufacturing facility.
So yes, you can definitely have had CDFA approval prior to the new ruling; but that is irrelevant.
The process can be somewhat expedited for previously approved recipes contrary to what one of the posters keeps reiterating.
If you or any others need clarification, the company will explain to you just that. So I’ll save you the phone call.
