Inmho (I am not a mining engineer) the thing about toll treatment is that you don't have to do studies, do exploration, develop mine plans, drill tunnels, build huge accommodation complexes and get scarce labour. Lots of other mining companies do that. That diversifies the risk of supply.
POS has a good idea of the ore blend it needs.
