My problem is exacerbated because unfortunately my spouse and I have split and are now valuing and splitting the assets so I really don't want to use the figure ($2.40 from memory) used at the last successfully completed (& communicated) equity raise as it seems to me that the company shares wouldn't be worth anywhere near that if listed.

Any ideas/thoughts would be appreciated.

Call IGE or VCEX and see if you can transfer half of the shares into his name. That’s about your only option I think.
