    Here's another good discussion on inflation vs deflation (10 hours old as at time of this posting).

    At 34:30 in Ed starts talking about deflation and then makes reference to any inflation being related directly to fiscal support. He talks again at about 49:00 along similar lines.

    To me so far this is the view that makes the most sense and takes everything that we see in the world currently into account. Therefore I'm still currently thinking that we live in a deflationary world, and that that will be offset by fiscal stimulus if they decide that we need more growth.

    So the underlying force is deflation, but there may be inflation regardless due to fiscal stimulus.

    I'll post some of the pro-inflation arguments as well at some point.
