    if you want to blame the rba and not the government, lowe left almost a year ago - why hasn't the labor appointed governor gone harder on interest rates? this government has a spending problem. as has been pointed out previously, the government has many options to rain in inflation and if they don't use these options, they force the rba to use the only lever it has. i do not blame the rba for this mess & i think it was disgusting how phillip lowe was treated, on the other hand, bullock hasn't made any meaningful improvements either. again, not that this is her fault.
