According to latest figures, inflation is running at about 2 % a year,yet in the last year
insurance up about 20%
house prices about 20%
my wife tells me vegetables are up about 50%
fuel about 10%
health premiums about 10%
price of copper about 100%
steel about 100%
nickel about 100%
gold about 40%
silver about 60%
lead about 50%
the list goes on
apparently house prices,fuel and food are not included in the inflation figure.
So the figures are based on everyone living in a cave,riding a horse to work and eating no food.
What a joke!
