Politicians have to be stupid and implement unsound fiscal policies in order to get elected, what's the RBAs excuse then? Modern central banking dictates recessions are not allowed anymore, it's perfectly reasonable to have unlimited growth from a single planet with limited resources. The value of a 1966 50c piece is still 50c according to them, but it would cost you about $12 to make one now. It's a great example of how the government destroys your purchasing power, by making money worthless with near free money at low rates.

To top it off we live in a county with the most apathetic population on the planet, people don't understand what to protest for and even if they did they won't protest for change even if they could, which they can't, at least not effectively. It's animal farm for real. We are getting fkd over and there is nothing we can do about it, and neither can they. Too far gone at this stage.

The middle class will be decimated within 20 years I reckon. The same class of people who pay the lions share of tax revenue and produce goods and services.
