inflation surprise hits australian shares, page-2

    Can someone please explain to me in laymans terms why our market reacts in such a negative fashion in relation to news of this nature. I cant understand why if our economy is excellerating well and the world ecconomies(US and ftse) are appreciating and leaving us in their dust. Should it not be visa versa????
