I also see tonight that the IMF has revised their economic forecasts yet again, further declines in growth will have a negative multiplier effect and the downward spiral will continue. This of course will flow onto the financial results of various companies and cause a drop off in the market as it adjusts to lower earnings. It is my view that this will also add to the attraction of gold as all faith is lost in other forms of investment (or in this environment the need to preserve capital).
I too have been looking in my cellar and it is getting low I am currently grappling with the question of whether or not to open a bottle of Penfolds 2001 St Henri.
