hi rivkin, the chart shows asset price inflation as a result of a depreciating usd - excess liquidity and low interest rates resulting in speculation and carry trade rather than investment in productive capacity. you could probably overlay the same usd chart with bonds or gold and see a similar correlation. the article is worth reading too.
