How much stuff is worth is often in the eye of a collector with stacks of $$$$$$$$. When it comes to honorary roles ike the GG and appointments I suspect a LOT of very qualified and suitable people could do the GG job for peanuts.

Note a certain ev CAR persons recent USD$50 odd billion may be seen as putting the mere AUD$700,000 pay in perspective?

PS USA trump style /proposed 100% Tariffs, Tax cuts and spending increases funded by printing presses for cash is inflationary as well

But she didnt serve in the military so doesnt have the pension thus the 40% increase.....

Instead she supported the Voice and was a Labour mate!

The position is being set up for the future by the ALP for another republic move? (Look at the cost etc)
