19/5/22 The Age newspaper influenza is spreading rapidly among Victorian children sparking up to a 500 per cent increase in flu cases detected in the Royal Children's hospital lab in the past 2 weeks alone. Influenza is back with a vengeance say Paediatricians . Before the COVID pandemic, influenza was the leading cause of hospital admission for children under age 5.
