I disagree with your comments about requiring a brave man to start up an oil company at the moment. There has not been such a good time since the 1980's.
It is worth noting that the ASX rejected the initial Baraka prospectus last year due to the high number of yet to be awarded application blocks in its West African Portfolio.
There are a lot of carpet baggers out there floating oil and gas companies with the aim of making money from an exagerated prospectus. If oil is found then that is a bonus for them.
