Unless I'm missing something depth seems to be the main concern here? Second seems to be the assumption that anything under 10% isn't worth mining. Correct me if I'm missing something.

The zinc thread (on this site) will show that many companies, including our neighboring mining giant, Teck, go 1km+ deep for zinc in more uneconomical times & countries:

It clearly shows mining companies go much deeper for similar & lower % zinc/copper. One of the deepest @ 1km+ is the Canadian mining giant, Teck, who also happens to be one of our many Irish neighboring zinc mines. Only round 1 of drilling. Thought I brought in at the low point but now I might top, or at least put a buy order in to catch the low ball.

Miners go where the money is at. Zinc is at an all time high & growing. We have plenty of these "disappointing to the uninformed" ANN's to be made.
