I think you will find that 'book' price means very little.
An NTA is worth a look for a LIC, however, the book value on most mining companies are well below their actual trading price. However, many industrials actually work the other way.
The book value on VBA for instance is 60c, yet it is trading at 20c. And then your have the listed property trusts and infrastructure comapnies with book values so much higher than their trading prices that it is frightening.
So, be very wary if valuing a company by book value.
