I wouldnt get too worried about the short trader. It is such a small parcel that is borrowed (according to ASX website).
Besides, a shorter doesnt directly cause the SP to move down. All a shorter is doing is borrowing stock from a large holder for a certain period of time. Nobody is dumping shares into the market place. FOr a short trade to work - other people have to sell.
