    RDF have it all covered. From their website -

    "Where jurisdiction rules require driver identification, Dual-Camera REDFLEXred systems are installed on both sides of the intersection. The Main Camera system records violation data, the two 'scene' images and the plate 'zoom' image. An additional Face Camera system records a high-resolution image of the oncoming driver's face. Later, REDFLEXprocessing systems obscure any passenger's face images to protect their privacy"
