Being new to HGR I am finding it difficult to find some...

Being new to HGR I am finding it difficult to find some information. I keep reading about this 'new spoon' type of delivery device. Can anyone tell me in layman terms what this 'spoon' does or how it works? How is the saliva collected on this spoon? Here in Qld, I see on TV that roadside tests use a scrapper type unit drags across the tongue to collect the sample. I would be grateful for a site that I could go to see the unit. I have tried the HGR site but it is under construction.
I can't believe how good this site is for info on HGR. My wife hates it, as she says I have turned into a computer nerd, since finding it !!!
