I'm actually a little less bullish on this than I was before. I was browsing through some old announcements the other day and came across this in an announcement released on 16-Dec-08 (Convertible note issue and placement):
"Having recently been granted a one year contract extension by the Minister of Energy, the marketing of the world class Senegal project is continuing. Written farm down offers have been received from two large international exploration and production companies, with a third offer, from a major, pending."
Recent announcements have not made any mention of 'written down offers', which they could announce without breaking any confidentiality agreement. Hopefully there's nothing in this but it gives me some doubts.
