all that "going concern" tripe on the weekend was clearly just that.... tripe!!!
cmr may end up failing but not yet! company's go to the wall when either they are debt laden OR have no means available to raise capital. cmr is not at that stage yet!!!
management now need to run this company on the smell of an oily rag. all non essential staff must be sacked, the plant quite possibly mothballed etc, etc...
in 1-2 years it could be completely different if they radically cut costs now and commodity prices eventually improve. note copper was up nearly 10% last night, what we need is a sustained rise and china/india's appetite for growth to resurface (which it undoubtedly will)...
i think we are in the eye of the storm at present, every chance cmr will see sub 10cps prices but good management can see this company through this crisis. i also believe we could see an opportunistic takeover arise while cmr is on its knees. nobody disputes the quality of the resource they are sitting on at bachelor.
