What an interesting thread. Surely we arent all children here, and perhaps some can even think for themselves? The way I see it is Gerry provides information on a stock he is excited about, nothing wrong with that imo. Its up to 'us' to decide if this information is relative to our style of investing or if it is relative at all. Gerry can give newbies the leads but ultimately it is up to them to do their own homework before investing. Any stock is tradable no matter how bad the fundamentals are, and if your going to buy/ hold and forget purely on what you read on a forum then I believe your in the wrong game. The buck stops with the investor, its up to you how you decipher information, if you’ll invest at all, then if that is short term or long term, how much to buy and what your risk levels are.
I guess it’s the way us humans are, never taking responsibility for our own actions. Why should we when its easier to blame someone else for our errors?
