    Another aspect which is being talked about at the moment on the RAP thread is the criteria various investment funds require before they can buy the stock

    For instance the retail market can buy and sell pretty much anything it is all up to you what you want to trade. Investment funds work differently , a fund manager or analyst might really like a stock but until it meets the funds investment criteria they can't buy it. Some of these criteria amongst other things are market cap, for instance it might be $50, $100, $400M caps etc depending on the type of fund. This is why RAP can sustain good buying pressure because it can tick off some of the boutique funds.

    So if you put in the time to research a company and think it has substance you can position into a stock at far lower levels than these funds and then sit and watch as ideally later on they come in to buy . The art is knowing which ones are likely to have a promising future!!
