this looks like very wide spaced aircore drilling. They have changed the orientation of the drilling to better target the regional scale structure. Historically the old drilling didn’t do that.
this aircore drilling is on lines that are 300 to 600 metres apart and the drill spacing on each line is between 80 and 160 metres. Entire open pit mines could be hiding in between the spaces in the drilling.
any sniffs of gold at all - which would seem inevitable - will need to be followed up with a bumfull of in-fill drilling
