Clyde.............I took your advise. In addition I have been reading researching TOs, Saltwater peoples, Groote Eylandt etc. Fascinating. I found a number of interesting news sources. NIRS (national Indigenous Radio Service) is one. They report settlements between mining companies and TOs as well as a mining company (BURU Energy) ending plans to mine duly repecting TOs: there are settlements that go both ways.
So where, and who will draw the line in this matter? Clyde, I think you're right it will have to be the government.
The beliefs that sustain the TOs are real enough. The beliefs that sustain the modern world are real enough. While is some cases TOs can settle. In othere cases no. I've read articles and heard interviews where the word "war" describes the TOs willingness to stand their ground in this matter. And there is apparently a gov operative at some senior level that has taken on the cause of the TOs in this matter.
Meanwhile, it seems that GOT is re-positioning itself with regard to the TOs. Will they adopt a posture of equality with the TOs? How long will this take? The price actions looks better. I'm holding out for a successful stink bid. I'm glad I don't have to make these decisions. My heart suports the TOs, my wallet supports GOT. I;ll take the outcome either way.
Just my thoughts
