The sensationalist,bogan news.com.au site has a major story stating that at some WOW and COL stores in NSW and Victoria, shoppers are stocking up on chicken and leaving shelves bare, as they are with pasta.
WOW said the lack of chicken was a 'supplier issue' but stocks 'were expected to improve in coming weeks.'
This doesn't accord with what I've seen at my inner Melbourne WOW. I couldn't see a 'shortage' a couple of days ago.
Happy to be corrected, but ING is a much bigger supplier to WOW than major competitor Baiada if I recall.
Unlike 'The Australian' that's far more credible even though the News online site is from the same table, I don't believe everything the online site publishes.
