I see you are pumping up the stock - flat out on other threads.
My point was not Myer but the seller - TPG. TPG's record is one of flat out maximising the sale price to whichever sucker is willing to pay. And gee - haven't the suckers paid for it!
I also note TPG sucked out $200m odd cash from selling property after acquiring ING from private owners (sale and lease back) prior to floating. They did the same trick with Myer - with selling 0ff Myer property prior to the float.
The underlying business might be sound - that doesn't necessarily correlate with the share price (and the prospectus forecasts TPG have dreamt up).
