Plant Refurbishment:
I got frustrated, and I phoned them, and asked for an explanation. The person said the plant is on track, but late due to it being of a larger capacity than first planned, hence a delay from before Christmas to March/April. They said that everything is working and turning, and the final task is up to an electrical sub-contractor who has been slower than planned, but is now working day and night to complete. I tried to nail them to a day of announcement, but they would not be drawn, other than "pretty shortly". They do not foresee any problems during commissioning, but covered themselves by saying it's a brand new plant, so unexpected issues could still arise. I guess that's fair enough.
Mining:
They referred me to the quarterly report and confirmed that they have a significant stockpile of rich gold bearing material to put through the plant, including material at +1 oz per tonne. At 15MT per hour, this could mean a few very big production days.
I felt the conversation was very positive, and as the SP dropped today, I finished out buying a small volume at a real bargain price. Yeah.
