    So the price paid of $6bn US is about 13% of revenues or 22 times earnings. So it depends on how you look at it. On an equivalent basis, this values DDR at AUD$130m (revenue) or $660m (earnings).

    With 160m shares on issue thats about 80c a share (revenue) or over $4 a share (earnings).

    If someone offered me $4 a share for my DDR shares I'd probably say that was a fair deal

    More seriously, for the "Chinese to squeeze a pretty good margin out of it" implies some changes may take place at Ingram, which may in fact turn out to be good for DDR if there is considerable disruption and staff exodus.
